Our Special Home, "Immortality of the Soul"

Our one-of-a-kind home was designed and built with the intention of expressing the universal belief  of the Immortality of the Soul. Elegantly and stylishly decorated with themes of Family, Childhood, and Motherly Love. As you approach the entrance of our Special Home, you are greeted with two beautiful doors dressed in hand forged wrought iron and brass handles adorned with acorns symbolizing life, immortality, and fertility.

These themes are carried through the main entrance in the beautiful hand painted oil paintings of mother and child, and children.

As one approaches the main hall, the drama and sacred geometry design elements are expressed for all to see in the majestic Fibonacci spiral staircase which symbolizes a stairway to "God’s Everlasting Kingdom of Heaven." The wrought iron scroll element represents the breath of God that permeates all things and the beginning of all life on earth. A visitor ascending the spiral staircase is participating in a metaphorical life journey that carries them to a higher consciousness. Knowing the intent of the design elements creates a spiritual experience for the family and visitors as they reflect on life and death.

At the top of the staircase is a domed ceiling symbolizing a womb, adorned with Vesica Pisces motif's consisting of two overlapping circles representing the womb of the universe, duality, union of heaven and earth, male and female and the power of creation.

The dome is painted with a moving and engaging mural entitled "The Ascension," conceptualized by David Ferro and painted by Saverio Scoleri working on a scaffold in the wee hours of the night.

“The Ascension”

The mural is an allegorical representation of man ascending into God's Everlasting Kingdom of Heaven. A sacred golden scroll descends from the heavens in a rhythmical spiral formation guided by an Angel into the hands of Man. The Event is witnessed by 2 cherubs and 3 doves.

Inscribed on the golden scroll are sacred motifs; Yaweh, Vesica Pisces, Alpha and Omega, Seal of Solomon in three dimensions know as the Merkaba (Mer = Light, Ka= Spirit, Ba= Body) which represents a vehicle of spirit/soul travel, and finally the universal vortex. It is through Man's conscious awareness of God's sacred words (sounds and vibrations) that enables him to transform and ascend into the higher realm of God's Everlasting Kingdom of Heaven.
