Now you have to know, Ed sat on the end, Mario to his right, me opposite him and Tom on my left. Ed organized his breakfast dish, neatly placing his napkin and silverware. "Salt please" he asked. Then a little sprinkle of pepper. Next came the ketchup, please & thank you. Now, you have to remember, ketchup in those days was still in glass bottles and very difficult to pour out. Ed was struggling with his ketchup bottle as the ketchup was stubborn and was not going to come out easy without some encouragement.

Ed was determined and with 3 claps on the bottom of the bottle, finally the ketchup started to pour out. But unaware, Ed had accidentally sprayed Mario from head to elbow on his right side leaving Mario's silhouette on the restaurant wall. We ALL laughed and laughed. That was our Ed.
